LEXI & CODY

WEDDING - NICARAGUA - 08.21.2024

"The sea once again sighed as she caressed the shore.

“You’re here.” She whispered as he caught her.

“I said I always would be.” He said simply, his words a vow.

Easing into his embrace, she sighed again.

“I am, and always will be, where you are.” He swore and slid a ring onto her finger.

“If I am found, it is only within you.”

“If I am at home, it is only in your arms.”

“If my soul cries, it is only out to yours.”

“For you are as much me as I am myself.”

And the sea sighed once again,
as their forever began."

LYDIA & QUINN

WEDDING - PORTLAND, OREGON - 06.15.2024

"Their wedding day opened,
a soft and wondrous storm.

That chorused thunder and sent rain racing down window panes,
and yet they stood,
nestled together,
beneath an umbrella.

Cocooned in the warmth of their love.

Oh, how gentle a metaphor.

Oh, how sweet a whisper.

Let the world fall around you,
look into her eyes,
push the curled tendril of hair gently behind her ear, and remember,

A day that that began in rain,
can still end amidst the sparkles of champagne."

ELOISE & GABE

couples shoot - colorado - 08.16.2024

“He licked the strawberry juice from her lips.

She tasted like sweet sun-kissed skin.

Like a warm memory, just out of reach,
but when he opened his eyes,
she was there,
smiling at him.

Her irises golden in the light.

And he would be reeled back to reality,
and trace his thumb
gently
across her mouth,
tasting the berry on his own skin.

Delighting.

Devouring.

Dissolving

into his polka dotted day dream.”
